Great associations don’t run on autopilot

We want to be a partner in your organization’s current chapter — and whatever comes next.

Associations succeed when leadership, structure, and operations work in alignment. Many associations are managing real complexity — volunteer turnover, governance demands, and rising expectations — without the internal infrastructure or personalized support they actually need.

Chapter Now Collective is a boutique association management partner providing principal-led support tailored to each organization’s reality. This isn’t one-size-fits-all management. It’s thoughtful, hands-on collaboration designed to stabilize operations, strengthen governance, and create systems that support long-term sustainability.

The goal isn’t just to keep things running. It’s to build clarity, continuity, and momentum — so boards and leaders can focus on mission, not logistics.

How We Work

Association management is relationship work as much as it is operational work. Every organization has its own history, leadership culture, and internal rhythms. My role isn’t to impose a system — it’s to build structure that fits how your organization actually functions.

I work as an embedded partner, not a distant vendor. That means steady communication, practical decision-making, and systems designed to reduce friction instead of adding complexity. The goal is always the same: clarity, continuity, and leadership support that makes the organization stronger over time.

What to expect:

  • Principal-led engagement — you work directly with me

  • Systems designed for real workflows, not theoretical models

  • Communication that supports distributed volunteer leadership

  • Governance that reflects how decisions are actually made

  • Calm, steady management in moments of change

Chapter Now Collective was founded by Melissa Castan to provide thoughtful, hands-on association management for organizations navigating real complexity.

Melissa works directly with every client, serving as a principal partner in governance, operations, meetings, and leadership strategy. Depending on the needs of the organization, she collaborates with a trusted network of specialists in finance, meetings, communications, and technical operations ensuring clients receive the right expertise without unnecessary overhead.

This model allows Chapter Now Collective to stay nimble, personal, and deeply aligned with each organization’s goals, while scaling support when needed.

Clients aren’t handed off to layers of staff — they gain a steady partner invested in their long-term success.
